Tehran reviews N-incentives package: Mottaki

Iran is playing things well as ever. A beautifully exercised gambit:

Agence France-Presse - 30 June, 2008
Iran is still reviewing an international package of economic incentives designed to get Tehran to curb its nuclear program, the country’s official news agency, IRNA, reported yesterday.Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said Iran was studying the package “carefully and strongly,” and an answer would be given once the review was finished, IRNA reported. The package by the five permanent members of the UN Security Council plus German was presented to Iran earlier this month and is designed to offer trade and economic incentives in return for Tehran suspending its uranium enrichment program. Iran says the program is peaceful and has repeatedly said it would not stop enrichment. But the US and others fear its program could be used to produce nuclear weapons.
